For years I've been coming to Huntington and told how amazing Sugar Shack is. They always have a wait so I always opt to eat elsewhere. I finally decided to wait and it was the most mediocre menu and breakfast ever. Most menu items were nothing special, or creative. I did like how you could order eggs Benedict in half, I have never seen that option before. The eggs Benedict was also delicious. The ham sandwich was pretty regular, but the potato type chip was good. Overall, not worth the hype but decent breakfast food.

How have I not made a review thus far.... I've been coming here for over a decade for sure maybe two. It's for outdoor seating in the front and the back.. HACK/ if it's busy the back patio has a different wait list so you can sign up back there and it's usually a lot less time. Or order to go.. and skip the line. I love the outdoor seating in the front though cus it's the best for people watching. Staff is always busting their behind. They flip tables quickly. I will say when you wait you won't be receiving a text so you'll have to wait around which can get awk when you're eating and there is four parties waiting, watching you eat more or less. lol

Cute , small store front. Front and back patio seating Small 1 unit bathroom. Smells good though. Small halls, small internal brakfast br and beach town vibe. Very cute. The food comes out fast!!! Hot. Good!! The hasbrowns are great!! So crisp The bacon is super good too. No bar service here, bummer. But so cute and has amazing charm. The service is great! I can do this again Quick, simple, solid food

Seating inside and on back patio were first come, first serve. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Would recommend! We went on a Friday morning and it was pretty busy, but we had no problems getting seated. Had the breakfast special, 2 egg combo and cinnamon roll. All were great.

Worth the wait if in town. Experience the full Huntington Beach experience while you wait watching all the cool cars cruising Main St. Lots of shops nearby as well. The location is not very large, but the food and service are great. We were lucky enough to be seated under 30 minutes and got a great seat on the front patio. I chose the eggs Benedict which come with hash browns. Prices were fair and we all left full and happy. Beautiful views nearby of the beach and pier.

Stopped in while I was waiting for the Surf City marathon to finish up. I'm a sucker for a cute diner and this place delivered on ambiance. Staff was friendly as well. Ordered the Main Street breakfast burrito no cheese and added bacon. I've never seen a breakfast burrito come with sprouts and it was a nice addition! Burrito was big and they really loaded it full of bacon and avo. Bacon was a bit too crispy/dry and it was all on one side of the burrito. Burrito was also loosely wrapped with is my pet peeve. Flavor was lacking but improved overall taste with the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Also lacking in the egg department. Overall, if I am going to spend $19 dollars on a breakfast burrito it better be the best damn burrito of my life (it was not:/) ...Red beards hot sauce was an awesome addition to my burrito though! Did appreciate that my side of fruit was big and coffee was free refills.
